Research Focus

The successful candidate will investigate the mode of action of parapoxvirus-based cancer vaccines, emphasizing viral-related factors that enhance therapeutic efficacy. This role involves:

  • Project Development: Crafting a 4–5-page scientific proposal addressing key questions about the mechanism of action of parapoxvirus-based vaccines.
  • Experimental Design: Conducting studies to understand tissue and cellular tropism, viral replication kinetics, and the impact on vaccine cassette presentation.
  • Data Analysis: Utilizing advanced bioinformatics and in vivo models to interpret experimental data.

Candidate Profile
