Title: Postdoctoral Research Scientist – Poxvirus-Based Cancer Vaccines

Research Focus
The successful candidate will investigate the mode of action of parapoxvirus-based cancer vaccines, emphasizing viral-related factors that enhance therapeutic efficacy. This role involves:
- Project Development: Crafting a 4–5-page scientific proposal addressing key questions about the mechanism of action of parapoxvirus-based vaccines.
- Experimental Design: Conducting studies to understand tissue and cellular tropism, viral replication kinetics, and the impact on vaccine cassette presentation.
- Data Analysis: Utilizing advanced bioinformatics and in vivo models to interpret experimental data.
- Collaborative Research: Engaging with a multidisciplinary, international team to drive innovation and scientific discovery.
- Dissemination: Publishing findings in high-impact journals and presenting at international conferences.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking dynamic and innovative scientists who meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: PhD in Virology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, or a related field with a strong focus on poxvirus research.
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with in vivo models and a solid understanding of cancer immunology.
