As a PhD student, youâll focus on:

- Enroll in doctoral courses (60 credits) alongside your research.
- Conduct organic chemistry experiments using both conventional and green chemistry approaches.
- Characterize molecules through NMR, X-ray crystallography, and MS.
- Collaborate with colleagues on enzymatic transformations and mechanistic studies.
- Participate in department-wide seminars and events.

- A Masterâs degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Solid foundation in synthetic organic chemistry and analytical techniques (NMR, MS, etc.).
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).
