This full-time, temporary contract role is part of the OPUS 23 research project, which focuses on understanding the mechanisms of iron enzymes catalyzing ring-closing or cleavage reactions. The research will involve advanced techniques such as:

Protein production through E. coli overexpression
โ
Chromatographic protein purification (affinity chromatography & molecular filtration)
โ
Protein crystallization and structure refinement
โ
Diffraction measurements at synchrotron beamlines
โ
Molecular biology applications & enzymatic kinetics

๐ Who Should Apply?
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
โ๏ธ Hold a PhD in chemistry, biology, or related fields
โ๏ธ Have experience in molecular biology and protein purification techniques
โ๏ธ Be proficient in protein crystallography
โ๏ธ Have at least 4 years of research experience
โ๏ธ Be proficient in English
Additional criteria include:
๐น Published research in biochemistry, biological chemistry, or related fields
๐น A strong background in biocatalysis and enzymology
๐น Ability to conduct independent research and collaborate in a team
