๐Ÿฉธ About the Research Project

The PhD project aims to better understand congenital bleeding disorders by studying hemostasisโ€”a vital process that prevents excessive bleeding. The research will involve:
โœ… Analyzing the role of different enzymes, proteins, and blood cells in clot formation
โœ… Investigating how clot breakdown (plasmin generation) affects bleeding tendencies
โœ… Recruiting patients and collecting clinical data on bleeding severity and quality of life
โœ… Validating a novel hemostasis assay developed by Synapse Research Institute

The findings will help improve diagnostics and treatment strategies for patients with inherited bleeding disorders, ultimately enhancing their quality of life and survival outcomes.
